- MagnaTek is guaranteed to be free from defects. All products are examined in depth prior to shipment.
MagnaTek will NOT be responsible for personal injury or property damage resulting from the misuse of the Neodymium magnets in our mat. Please use caution and common sense, and please read and understand our safety warnings below. Although, our magnets are encapsulated and should never be removed, please keep in mind these general Magnet safety procedures. Tip holder Magnets will come out on occasion. We recommend gluing them back with a generous drop of Crazy glue.
Magnet Safety Disclosures
Keep out of reach of children Although magnets can be wonderful tools and highly useful, these are not for small children. Small children should not be allowed to handle any of our magnets at all! Older children should handle them only after receiving adult training.
Pacemakers and Defibrillators Pacemakers and defibrillators can be sensitive to strong magnetic fields. If you or someone in your household has a pacemaker or defibrillator, or has health issues that require that you wear electronics of any sort, avoid magnets completely until you consult your doctor.
Damage to Magnetic Storage Media Magnetic fields can cause damage to magnetic storage media. These include: thumb drives, credit cards, video tapes, and computers. Basically, electronic devices that have internal moving components. Cell phones are safe, as are all solid state hard drives. Keep all magnets at least 12 inches away from all types of magnetic media.
